Convenient ground floor hostel with wheelchair-friendly access. Comfortable lower bunks, spacious lockers, and private curtain partitions. Well-equipped bathroom with grab bars, walk-in shower, and reclined mirror. Great location near churches, museums, and Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Short trip to the center and other interesting sites.

The air-conditioned rooms at Hostel M-A Rooms Mate in Madrid were absolutely amazing! As a solo traveler, I loved the cozy and comfortable vibe they provided. The shared bathroom was clean and had a nice shower, and the free WiFi was a bonus!
While everything was great, I personally found the shared bathroom arrangement a bit inconvenient.

During my recent transit in Madrid, I stayed at M-A Rooms Mate and found it to be conveniently located near the airport and train station. The nearest airport, Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas, was just 15 km away, making it easy for me to catch my flight. the Chamartin Railway Station was only 3.9 km from the hostel, allowing me to easily continue my journey.
The space, being designed primarily for sleeping, did not have adequate ventilation, resulting in a pungent smell within the room due to the large number of beds and people.

Beds were super comfortable, like sinking into a cloud. The hostel's location in Tetuan gave it a unique vibe, with modern malls and impressive office towers reminiscent of a futuristic cityscape. Despite the small size, the bathrooms were spotlessly clean, making you feel at ease. And let's not forget the free WiFi that kept us connected throughout our stay.
Curfew needed, after 23h00.

I recently stayed at Hostel M-A Rooms Mate for a few nights on a business trip. The hostel felt very new and modern, with private beds that had curtains for added privacy. The shower had good water pressure and always had hot water. The location was very convenient, being close to a metro station. The staff were friendly and the bed was clean and comfortable.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The air-conditioned rooms at Hostel M-A Rooms Mate in Madrid's Tetuan district were a breath of fresh air. I really loved the cozy atmosphere and the comfortable bed with clean linen. The shared bathroom, equipped with a shower and a hairdryer, was convenient and always kept clean. Plus, the free WiFi made it easy for me to stay connected during my stay. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the hostel's location in a district with plenty of options for vegetarian and vegan dining.
Personally, I wish the rooms at the hostel had private bathrooms. But I understand that some guests might still find enjoyment in the shared bathroom setup.

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the spacious and comfortable bed in my room. the privacy was great, thanks to the lockers provided. the bathrooms were always clean, and the photos on the website accurately represented the accommodations. the staff was kind enough to provide us with extra blankets, which made our stay even more comfortable.
There were some aspects that could be improved. there was a lack of cutlery in the kitchen box, which made it difficult to prepare meals.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
